Ramzan Chhipa had helped one more married couple to own a child as the couple had not had any child from their marriage

The Chhipa Welfare Association (CWA) Patron-in-chief and eminent human rights activist Ramzan Chhipa had helped one more married couple to own a child as the couple had not had any child from their marriage. This had happened as the couple was allowed to adopt a child that was dropped in the Chhipa Cradle being installed at all CWA service centres in the city.

According to details, CWA had received a babe that was dropped in the “Chhipa Cradle” in last days of February. The babe was in a critical condition. CWA had taken the babe to a medical facility for due treatment and care.

Earlier, CWA had invited applications from interested married coupled that did not have any biological child from their marriage and were in sound financial state so as to rear the child while ensuring provisioning of all the basic and standard means of living and learning to the child. CWA had received trenmendous response from such married couples.

On attaining the assurances from doctors that treated the babe that the child was completely fit and fine, CWA advisory board had decided to approve a suitable married couple to adopt the child.

In this regard, a simple ceremony was performed at the local hospital and the child was given into the custody of Muhammad Usman, a local trader and to his wife Shakeela Usman. The couple could not control their feelings on receiving the child they had longed for long.

Ramzan Chhipa had on the occasion attained assurance from the couple that they would take care of the child as their own child as if the child was reproduced from their marriage.

The tradition of sweet distribution was also performed on the occasion. The couple had assured the CWA Chief that they would not leave anything needed for the training of the child as their own.

Ramzan Chhipa had named the babe as Muhammad Ayyan, which mean, the gift of God.
