Eminent human rights activist and social worker “Ramzan Chhipa” has said that Diabetes was not a disease alone but was a complex of diseases, which killed a human pert second in the world and a male, female or a child, if survived, became handicapped for good. Henceforth, the people should not ignore the symptoms if they witness any in them and should see a medical consultant immediately to get the disease diagnosed on time so that proper treatment could be initiated. the treatment started on times prevents the disease entering into the syndrome of complex disorders. In Pakistan, every 10th was affected with the diabetes. It was imperative that efforts should be geared in order to make the country Diabetes free.

“Ramzan Chhipa” expressed these views on the occasion of inauguration of a two-day free medical camp for the diabetics at Hassan Charitable Hospital located in Surjani Town.

earlier, he visited the Hospital and inaugurated the free medical camp for the diabetics. He was flanked by Diabetic foot Programme Pakistan Incharge Dr M F Chohan, Wali Khan, Muhammad Hamid, Shah Asadullah, Fahim Qureshi, Muhammad Nawaz and Qari Hafiz Ul Haq.

Ramzan Chhipa said that the diabetes was a deadly disease and efforts should be geared up to save the people from the disease. Hence, the rich people, hospitals and NGOs should come forward to stand united for that noble cause of establishing free medical camps for the diabetics so that the people should be helped to stay safe from blindness, cardiac disorders and life time disability.

on the occasion, Ansar-e Medina trust announced to continue with free medical camps for the diabetics so that the people should be made aware of the repercussions of the deadly disease.
